QR code restaurants: Usually, you go to eat in a hotel or restaurant and see that the cleanliness there is not right, and sometimes there is a problem with the food as well. Then you make up your mind to complain. Then you think where to complain? So now you do not need to take tension. Because now it is going to be easy to complain about a hotel or restaurant.

The Food Safety Authority of the country (FSSAI) has instructed all food business operators like restaurants, dhabas, cafes, and food shops to put their FSSAI license or registration certificate in a place visible to the customers.

Instructions to also put the QR code of the mobile app
FSSAI has also instructed all shops and hotels to put the QR code of the 'Food Safety Connect' mobile app. The authority has said that the QR code of the mobile app should be put at the entry gate, billing counter, or seating places, so that customers can easily see it.

Steps taken to empower customers.
FSSAI says that this step has been taken to empower customers, ensure food quality, and cleanliness. Through this, customers will be able to complain about bad food, dirt, and products with misleading claims directly through the mobile app.

Also necessary for online food delivery platforms
The authority said that this directive is according to condition number 1 of the license under the 2011 License and Registration of Food Business (FSS) rules. It will also be necessary to put this QR code or the download link of the app on the websites of online food delivery platforms and restaurants.

That is, now customers will not only be able to complain, but will also be able to know whether the concerned shop or hotel is licensed by FSSAI or not.
