If the train is canceled due to rain, can the ticket money be refunded? Know the answer

Train Refund Rules: Indian Railways has to cancel trains due to various reasons. This question comes to the mind of many people. If the train is canceled due to rain, will they get a refund or not?

Every day crores of passengers travel in India. For whom the Railways runs thousands of trains. The railway journey is very comfortable.

Often when people have to travel far, most people prefer to travel by train. People get a lot of facilities on train journey.

But many times Indian Railways has to cancel trains due to various reasons. These also include rain, snowfall, and other natural disasters.

In such a situation, this question comes in the mind of people. If the train is cancelled due to rain, will they get a refund or not.

Generally, if any train of Indian Railways is cancelled due to rain. In such a case, you don't have to do anything. The railways themselves send you the refund of the ticket within 7 to 10 days.

But if you don't get the refund, then for online tickets, you have to file online TDR i.e. Ticket Deposit Receipt. Only then you get the refund.

If you have bought the ticket from the railway counter. Then you have to go there and file the TDR. You are issued the refund after a few days.
