Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. This amount is transferred directly into the farmers' bank accounts in three installments of ₹2,000 each.

In this context, today—October 30, 2026—at approximately 11:30 AM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the transfer of funds directly into the accounts of farmers from Gujarat. The money was sent via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). However, there are instances where eligible farmers do not receive their installment, or the payment status shows no updates. If you have not received the ₹2,000 installment under the PM Kisan Yojana, there is no need to worry; you can verify certain details and file a grievance.

First, check your e-KYC status and land records.
If your PM Kisan Yojana installment has been held up, the first step is to check your e-KYC status. Completing e-KYC is mandatory to avail the benefits of the scheme. Additionally, your land records must be verified. If there are any discrepancies in the land records or if the verification process is incomplete, your installment may be withheld.

Farmers can check their 'beneficiary status' by visiting the official PM Kisan website. You can view your payment status by entering your registration number or other required information.

Contact these helpline numbers.
If your e-KYC and land records are in order, yet you have still not received the installment, you can contact the PM Kisan helpline directly. The government has provided the following numbers:

155261 – PM Kisan Helpline Number
011-24300606 – PM Kisan Helpline Number
By reaching out to these numbers, farmers can seek information regarding withheld installments or issues related to their payment status. Assistance is also available via the 'Kisan e-Mitra' chatbot
Farmers can also seek help from the 'Kisan e-Mitra' chatbot available on the PM Kisan portal to find solutions to their issues. Through this, they can ask questions regarding the scheme, installments, and payments.
