UP government gives 5 lakh rupees.
If a person dies in a wild animal attack in Uttar Pradesh, then in such a situation the government gives 5 lakh rupees as compensation to the family of that person. However, let us tell you that a list of wild animals has been prepared by the government. Only the animals coming under that list are placed in the category of wild animals.
If an animal is outside that list, then in such a case compensation is not given by the government. In Uttar Pradesh, the government gives 4 lakh rupees in case of permanent disability due to a wild animal attack. On the other hand, 1 lakh rupees is given for partial disability and 1 lakh rupees is also given for serious injury.
Different provisions in different states
In UP, 5 lakh rupees are given in case of death due to a wild animal attack, in Bihar, 10 lakh rupees are given as compensation by the state government. The government of Bihar also has a rule that this compensation will be given only for the loss caused by wild animals. The Bihar government has released a list of wild animals. It includes animals like leopards, tiger, bear, elephant, hyena, wild boar, wolf, jackal, rhinoceros, wild dog and crocodile.
If someone dies in a wild animal attack or becomes completely disabled, 10 lakh rupees will be given. On the other hand, if someone is seriously injured, 1.44 lakh rupees will be given. If someone has a minor injury, then he will be given 24 thousand rupees. In Uttarakhand, the government gives a compensation of ₹ 6 lakh on death due to wild animal attack. Similarly, in other states also the compensation amount is in lakhs.
