ICICI Bank, India's second-largest bank by market cap, has recently announced that it will revise the charges of some of its services for its customers. These changes will be effective from May 1, 2024. The bank will make changes in charges related to ATM usage, debit cards, checkbooks, IMPS, stop payment, signature attestation, and others.
ICICI Bank has revised these charges-
Debit card annual charge – Rs 200 per annum, Rs 99 per annum in rural areas
Check Book – Zero charge i.e. no charge for 25 check books in a year. After that, Rs 4 will have to be paid for each cheque.
DD/PO – Rs 100 will have to be paid for cancellation, duplicate, and revalidation.
IMPS – Outward: For amounts up to Rs 1,000, Rs 2.50 per transaction will be charged, from Rs 1,000 to Rs 25,000 – Rs 5 per transaction, and from Rs 25,000 to Rs 5 lakh – Rs 15 per transaction.
Account closure – zero
Debit Card PIN Regeneration Charge – Zero
Debit Card De-Hotlisting – Zero
Balance Certificate, Interest Certificate – Zero
Charges for retrieving documents related to old transactions or queries related to old records – Zero
Signature verification or attesting: Rs 100 per transaction
Address Verification – Zero
ECS/NACH Debit Returns: Rs 500 each for financial reasons
National Automated Clearing House (NACH), One-Time Authorization Charge – Zero
Marking or unmarking of a savings account – zero
Internet Users ID or Password (Branch or Non IVR Customer Number) – Zero
Address change request in branch – Zero
Stop Payment Charge – Rs 100 for cheque
