UP Cashless Health Scheme: Various diseases are spreading rapidly these days, and rising medical costs have become a major concern for people. In this context, if you are a teacher or an employee of the Education Department in Uttar Pradesh, this government scheme could prove beneficial for you. The government has launched the 'Chief Minister's Teacher Cashless Medical Facility Scheme,' under which eligible beneficiaries and their families will receive cashless medical treatment coverage of up to ₹5 lakh. This means you will no longer have to pay for medical treatment out of your own pocket.
Apply Online to Avail the Scheme's Benefits
You can apply for the scheme from the comfort of your home by following a few necessary steps:
First, visit the scheme's official portal.
Select the 'Online Registration' or 'Apply Online' option.
Log in using your employee ID, mobile number, and password.
Fill in the details regarding yourself and your family members in the application form.
Upload all the required documents.
Upload a passport-sized photograph as well, and then submit the form.
Steps to Follow After Applying
Once the form is submitted, the concerned department will verify your documents.
After verification is complete, you will need to complete the e-KYC process via the Ayushman app.
Following this, beneficiaries will be able to download their cashless medical card.
