AADHAAR

If you have started a job then it is necessary to link your Aadhaar with your EPF account. If you have not yet been able to link Aadhaar with your EPF account even while working, then you can link it easily. In fact, according to Section 142 of the Social Security Code 2020, all employees and unorganized workers must link their Aadhaar card with their EPF account. As an employee, you can do this in several ways.

On the UAN Member e-SEWA page on the EPFO portal

Visit the official website of EPFO https://www.epfindia.gov.in/

Place your cursor on the Services tab in the top-right corner of your screen and click the For Employees option in the drop-down menu

Click on the Member UAN/Online Services option in the Services section

The UAN Member e-Services page will open in front of you. Log in to your account by entering your UAN number, password, and captcha code. If you do not have your UAN, you can click on the Know Your UAN option in the Important Links section on the same page.

After logging into your account, click on the KYC option in the Manage section

You will be taken to a page where you can link your Aadhaar number with your EPF account

Now, click on the Aadhaar option and enter your Aadhaar number and name before clicking on the Save button.

Verify your Aadhaar number by entering the One Time Password (OTP) received on your mobile number. After OTP verification, your Aadhaar number will be linked to your EPF account number.

You can also link on the Umang App

Visit the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the UMANG app on your smartphone.

Enter the mobile number registered with your EPF account.

Enter the OTP received on your mobile number. You can also use your MPIN to log into your account

After logging into your account on the Umang App, go to the All Services tab and tap on the EPFO option

Select the Aadhaar seeding option under the e-KYC services section

Enter your UAN number and tap on the Get OTP button

Enter the OTP received on your mobile number

A new page will open in your app where you can update your Aadhaar information. You can enter your Aadhar card number here and click on the Submit button.

Verify your Aadhaar number by entering the OTP received on your mobile number. After OTP verification, your Aadhaar number will be linked to your EPF account number.

You can also get the link done by visiting the regional EPFO office.

Visit the inquiry or help desk of your nearest regional EPFO office and ask for the Aadhaar Seeding Application Form.

Now fill out the form by entering your UAN number, PAN number, Aadhaar number, and other important details.

Attach self-attested copies of the required documents

Submit the correctly filled application form to the concerned executive in the EPFO office.

After successful verification, your Aadhaar number will be linked to your PF account.

On completion of the EPF-Aadhaar linking process, the word Verified will appear next to the Aadhaar option in your EPF profile on the EPFO website. You will also receive a message on your registered mobile number.
