What is the eligibility?
Eligibility is also according to the course. Apart from passing the entrance exam, for the UG course, the candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology subjects from a recognized university with at least 50 percent marks. It is also necessary to have at least 50 percent marks in English. The age should be at least 17 years. Reserved categories get relaxation in marks criteria.
Similarly, it is necessary to pass UG for a PG course and PG for the doctoral degree. For admission to MBBS/BDS course, after passing NEET exam, one has to participate in Punjab NEET UG counseling. On getting a seat, admission is given in an affiliated college.
