2. How many free cylinders will Delhi residents get?
Under this scheme, which is being launched in Delhi, eligible beneficiaries will get two free cylinders per year. One on Holi and the other on Diwali.

3. Who will get free gas cylinders in Delhi?
This scheme will benefit only those who fall under the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category or those who have a ration card. It is believed that more than 17 lakh families will benefit from the scheme.

Delhi citizens will not need to fill out any separate form. You can book and buy your gas cylinder from the gas agency as before. The Delhi government will automatically transfer the money for one cylinder to your Aadhaar-linked bank account.

6. Who will not benefit from this scheme?
