If you live in Delhi and wish to settle your traffic challan, a National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be held in the city on October 10; however, before that, it is important to know how to download the token.
This is a great opportunity to settle traffic challans. If you have a pending traffic challan against your vehicle and want to resolve it, this information is for you. While a National Lok Adalat was originally scheduled for September 12, there is a specific update for Delhi residents: the event in Delhi has been rescheduled.
When will the Lok Adalat be held in Delhi now?
The Lok Adalat in Delhi will now be held on October 10, 2026, instead of September 12. People can easily settle their pending challans during this event. To do so, downloading an online token beforehand is mandatory. You can use the Delhi Traffic Lok Adalat Portal for this purpose; however, please note that the booking link on the portal becomes active only a few days before the Lok Adalat takes place.
How to download the online token?
First, visit the Delhi Traffic Lok Adalat Portal.
Enter your vehicle number and the captcha code.
An OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered on your vehicle's RC (Registration Certificate).
Enter the OTP to complete the verification process.
Once verified, your pending challans or court notices will appear on the screen.
Next, select a court complex of your choice, such as Tis Hazari or Saket.
Then, select the courtroom and time slot (e.g., morning or evening).
Review all the details and tick the 'Undertaking' box.
Finally, you can download and save the token, or take a printout of it.
When will token booking open?
Token booking for the Lok Adalat scheduled for October 10 in Delhi is likely to begin at 10:00 AM on October 5. Please keep in mind that the number of tokens is limited, so obtain your token as soon as booking opens.
