Who can apply for the PM-Kisan scheme?

Who is not eligible for the scheme?
However, certain categories of people are ineligible for this scheme. These include institutional landholders; current or former ministers, MPs, MLAs, and mayors; income tax payers; retired employees receiving a monthly pension of ₹10,000 or more; and professionals such as doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, lawyers, and architects.

Documents required for the application
Farmers applying for the scheme must have:

Aadhaar card
Proof of citizenship
Land ownership documents, and
Bank account details.
How to apply?
Visit the scheme's portal at https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
Go to the 'Farmers Corner' section and click on the 'New Farmer Registration' option.

Next, enter your Aadhaar number, state, and the captcha code to verify your details.
If your name is not already registered, a new registration form will open. Fill in the required personal, bank, and land-related details, and submit the form.
Registration via mobile app
Farmers can also apply by downloading the PMKISAN mobile app. To do this:

Download the app on your phone and click on the 'New Farmer Registration' option.
Enter your Aadhaar number and other required details.
Once the form is submitted, the concerned state government verifies the beneficiary's details.
After submitting the application, farmers can check their registration status on the PM-Kisan portal.
