How much money does a stenographer get every month? How much will the salary increase after the 8th Pay Commission?

The salary of Level-4 Grade D stenographers may increase significantly after the 8th Pay Commission. The basic salary is expected to reach 72,930 if the fitment factor is 2.86.
The coming time may bring good news for those doing government jobs, especially for those employees who are working on Level-4 posts, such as Grade D stenographers. The figures that have come out recently make it clear that after the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, the salary of these employees can increase tremendously.
How much salary is received now?
At present, the basic salary of a Level-4 stenographer is Rs 25,500 per month. Along with this, they also get Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), and other government facilities. Adding all these, their in-hand salary is around Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000. But now it is expected that this salary will increase significantly with the upcoming pay commission.
The new salary will be decided by the fitment factor.
The biggest basis for the increase in the salary of government employees is the fitment factor. In the 7th Pay Commission, it was 2.57, due to which the minimum salary increased from Rs 7,000 to Rs 18,000. Now, three possible fitment factors have emerged for the 8th Pay Commission - 1.92, 2.08 and 2.86. If the government approves 2.86, then the minimum salary can go from Rs 18,000 to Rs 51,480 directly.
How much will the stenographer benefit?
If the same ratio applies to stenographers as well, then their new basic salary can go up to Rs 72,930. That is, an increase of about Rs 47,000 from the current basic. Apart from this, other allowances (DA, HRA, TA etc.) will also increase naturally, which will increase the in-hand salary further.
