Home Update Guide: How to Fix Your Aadhaar Address Online and Link Your PAN Card
UIDAI Urges Timely Updates as Aadhaar Becomes Mandatory for Banking and Government Services; PAN-Aadhaar Deadline Set for Dec 31, 2025
Aadhaar has cemented its position as the single most critical identity document in India, serving as the backbone for everything from accessing government welfare schemes to utilizing essential banking and financial services. Given its ubiquitous nature, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is repeatedly emphasizing the necessity for citizens to keep their Aadhaar information accurate and up-to-date.
In a move to simplify citizen compliance, the UIDAI has made several key update services available online, allowing individuals to correct or modify their details from the comfort of their homes in minutes. Crucially, the process of linking your Aadhaar with your Permanent Account Number (PAN) remains a mandatory requirement, with the current deadline set for December 31, 2025.
