The big news is coming from Betul, Madhya Pradesh. A serious allegation has been made against the employees of HDFC Bank. They have been accused of embezzling money from the fixed deposits and accounts of the customers. It is suspected that the employees had withdrawn this money to invest in IPL betting. Six customers have filed a complaint against the employees of the bank. These include fake credit cards, self-issued cheques, and illegal online transfers. Due to this, they suffered huge losses.

The money disappeared from FD.

Many customers complained that money disappeared from their accounts and fixed deposits. Whereas they had deposited money legally. One customer even said that Rs 5 lakh deposited for his daughter's wedding disappeared from his FD. At the same time, other customers reported illegal transactions through fake credit cards issued in their name.

Allegations have been made before as well.

Apart from this, the victims also alleged that the local police have refused to register their complaints. After this, they had to seek intervention from the district officials. This is not the first time that the HDFC bank branch in Betul has been accused of financial irregularities. However, complaints have been lodged in such cases earlier as well. No serious investigation has been done so far.

Such an incident was also reported in Odisha

Now the victims are facing a financial crisis. They are demanding strict action from the authorities. They not only want the return of their money but are also expecting strict legal action against the accused. Recently, the Bank of India had also reported to RBI an incident of loan fraud of Rs 226.84 crore by Odisha-based Gupta Power Infrastructure Limited. This incident happened after Punjab National Bank reported a loan fraud of Rs 270.57 crore by the same Odisha-based company.
