HDFC Credit Card Rules- HDFC Bank changed the credit card charges, know how much the charge has changed
Many rules have changed from August 1, which can affect your financial situation, these changes include changes in the charges from gas cylinder to credit card, in such a situation, if you use HDFC Bank credit card, then you should be aware of some important changes effective this month. Let's know about them-
1. Increased charges on rent payment
If you use your HDFC Bank credit card to pay rent through third-party apps like CRED, PayTM, Cheq, MobiKwik, or Freecharge, you will have to pay an additional fee of 1%. The maximum chargeable amount for each transaction is limited to ₹ 3,000.
2. Utility transaction fee
An additional charge will be applicable on transactions above ₹ 50,000. Notably, an amount exceeding this limit will be charged at 1%, with a limit of ₹ 3,000 per transaction. Transactions below ₹50,000 will not attract this additional charge.
3. Fuel Payment Charges
When paying for fuel using your HDFC Bank credit card, no additional charges will be levied for transactions below ₹15,000. However, if the payment exceeds this amount, a 1% charge will be applicable.
4. Educational Payments
Payments made for educational purposes through third-party apps will attract a 1% charge. This charge does not apply to payments made directly through educational institution websites or POS machines.
