HDFC Bank announced on Friday that a planned system maintenance affecting some customer service channels will be done at the end of this month. This maintenance will run from 11:00 pm on 22 August 2025 to 6:00 am on 23 August 2025, i.e., a total of 7 hours.
Which services will remain down?
During this time, customer care services like phone banking, IVR, email support, social media channels, chat banking on WhatsApp, and SMS banking will not be available. However, services will continue to be available on the toll-free number given for hotlisting in case of account or card loss/fraud. Customers can continue their transactions during this time through phone banking agent service, and digital channels like net banking, mobile banking, PayZapp, and MyCards.
The bank said that this maintenance is being done to increase the capacity of the system and provide a better banking experience. HDFC Bank expressed gratitude to the customers for their cooperation and said that these upgrades will further strengthen the reliability of services in the future.
