Know why the facilities will be closed?
On Saturday i.e. July 13, the bank will upgrade its system (the bank will upgrade its systems on 13 July). During this time, from 3 am to 4:30 pm (13 and a half hours), customers will not be able to use many facilities including payment. The bank has also alerted all its customers by sending messages about this. Along with this, the bank has also informed the customers about this through email and social media.
These services of the bank will be affected.
UPI payment
If you use HDFC Bank's UPI to make payment or receive money, then you will be able to use it on July 13 from 3:45 am to 9:30 am and after 12:45 pm.
ATM service
On July 13, there will be a problem with withdrawing payment from the HDFC ATM. However, you will be able to use the ATM from 3 am to 3:45 am and from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. However, some limits will be fixed during this time (atm card limit). This limit will be as follows:
Platinum Debit Card: Up to Rs 20,000
Millennia Debit Card: Up to Rs 20,000
Times Points Debit Card: Up to Rs 10,000
RuPay Platinum Debit Card: Up to Rs 10,000
Rewards Debit Card: Up to Rs 10,000
MoneyBack Debit Card: Up to Rs 10,000
Internet Banking and Mobile Banking
During the system upgrade of the bank, some services will also be available on Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. In these, you will be able to see services related to demat, cards, and loans. There will be no impact on services related to mutual funds and bill payments. All other facilities will remain closed (HDFC services closed).
Fund Transfer
All types of facilities for fund transfer (Fund transfer facilities closed) like IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, etc. will remain closed. Also, you will not be able to transfer money online from your HDFC bank account to your account.
ATM Card
You will be able to use HDFC Bank ATM card at stores. Also, you will be able to use this card for online shopping or any other payment. However, during this time you will not be able to use more than a fixed limit. This limit will remain the same as given above in ATM service. At the same time, there will be no effect on the use of credit cards (hdfc credit card service).
FASTag facility
During these 13 and a half hours on Saturday, many facilities related to FASTag will be affected. However, there will be no problem in going to the toll and FASTag will work. You will be able to recharge FASTag through any other bank's Internet banking (Bank's Internet Banking service). You can also recharge with HDFC Bank's debit or credit card. You will not be able to recharge FASTag only through HDFC Bank's internet banking, HDFC UPI, etc.
