PM Kisan 24th Installment Status: The central government has released the 24th installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, benefiting crores of farmers across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 24th installment on October 30 from Banaskantha, Gujarat. As a result, Rs 2,000 has been credited to the bank accounts of over 9.34 crore eligible farmers. While farmers are delighted to receive this financial support ahead of Diwali, some have yet to receive the funds in their accounts.

Even after the release of this installment, many farmers have not yet received their Kisan Samman Nidhi payment. If the Rs 2,000 has not reached your account, it could be due to certain technical or documentation-related issues.

Why might your installment be held up?
There are several primary reasons why the funds might not have reached your account. Under the rules of the PM-Kisan scheme, completing e-KYC is mandatory for all beneficiaries; failure to do so can result in the installment being withheld. It is also essential that your bank account is linked to your Aadhaar card and that Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) is enabled. Additionally, errors such as providing an incorrect bank account number or an inaccurate IFSC code can cause the payment to get stuck.

Another major reason for not receiving the installment is the failure to complete the verification of your land documents on the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi portal.

How to check your status?
If the funds have not reached your account, you should first check your status online.

Visit the official PM-Kisan scheme website at pmkisan.gov.in.

Click on the 'Know Your Status' option provided on the homepage.

Enter your registration number, fill in the captcha code, and enter the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your mobile number.

Once done, your complete status will appear on the screen, indicating which part of the process remains incomplete.

What should you do if an installment is stuck?
If your 24th installment has been held up due to technical or other reasons, there is no need to worry. Once your documents are corrected, the government will release the previously withheld amount along with the next installment. For any issues or assistance, you can contact the official Kisan Helpline number at 155261, or visit your nearest Agriculture Department office or Common Service Centre (CSC) to get your issue resolved.
