Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana: The Lado Lakshmi Yojana is being launched in Haryana to empower women financially. Under this scheme, women will receive a monthly assistance of ₹2,100.

Haryana Lado Lakshmi Yojana: On September 25th, the Haryana government, in keeping with its election promise, gave a significant gift to the women of the state. The state government announced the Deendayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana for women in Haryana. This scheme was launched to empower women financially. Under the scheme, eligible women will receive a monthly financial assistance of ₹2,100 directly into their bank accounts.

In the first phase of the scheme, approximately 2.1 million women are expected to benefit. However, several rules have been established for this scheme. So, let us tell you today whether a woman will still be eligible for the benefits of this scheme even if someone in her family has a government job.

Will women from families with government jobs benefit?

The most important condition associated with the Lado Laxmi Yojana is that if any member of a woman's family holds a government job, she will not be eligible for the scheme. Furthermore, women who have a family member receiving a government pension will also be excluded from the scheme. Furthermore, if a family member pays income tax, the women in that family will also be excluded from the scheme. Furthermore, women who already receive benefits from any government scheme, such as old-age pension, widow pension, disability pension, or the Ladli Social Security Scheme, will also not be covered by this scheme.

Which women will be exempted?

The Haryana government has established several rules regarding the Lado Laxmi Yojana. Certain women have been granted exemptions from these rules. In fact, women suffering from certain serious illnesses are exempted from this scheme. If a woman suffers from a disease like cancer, hemophilia, thalassemia, or sickle cell anemia, even if she is already benefiting from another scheme, she will still be eligible to receive ₹2100 under the Lado Laxmi Scheme. Registration for the Lado Laxmi Scheme has begun today, September 25, 2025. The Haryana government has stated that funds will begin being transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries from November 1, 2025. This means that women who apply now will begin receiving monthly financial assistance from November.

How to Apply for the Lado Laxmi Scheme

Women in Haryana must apply for the Lado Laxmi Scheme online. To apply, they must first download the Lado Laxmi mobile app. They will then complete the six-step registration process on this app. Only after the application is scrutinized and verified will women's names be included in the final list. Once their names are included on this list, will they begin receiving ₹2100 per month. According to the Haryana government, incorrect information cannot be uploaded to the Lado Laxmi Yojana app. Furthermore, if a woman lacks the required documents, registration will be incomplete. Furthermore, money will be deposited into women's accounts every month only after clicking a photo on the mobile app. According to the government, if women have any complaints regarding the Lado Laxmi Yojana, they can register them through the mobile app.

How much is the government spending on this scheme?

The Haryana government has already finalized the budget for the Lado Laxmi Yojana. The state government will spend ₹5,000 crore annually on this scheme. Additionally, approximately ₹415 crore will be disbursed to women each month. This scheme is one of the largest financial assistance schemes for women launched by the Haryana government to date.
