Modern Farming Boost: To encourage farmers in Uttar Pradesh to adopt modern farming practices, the government is providing facilities such as greenhouses and playhouses. With the help of these techniques, farmers will now be able to grow fresh and nutritious vegetables and grains even when the weather is not favorable.

Green houses ready in 24 districts, work in progress in 20

According to a statement issued by the state government here on Wednesday, greenhouse and poly house facilities are being developed in 44 districts of the state including Lucknow, Bahraich, Sultanpur, Barabanki, Sitapur and Amethi. The statement said that out of these, greenhouses have been completed in 24 districts, while they are being constructed rapidly in 20 districts.

Assistance is being provided under the schemes

According to the statement, all these works are being done under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Scheme. Also, subsidy is being provided under the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission Scheme to provide relief to the farmers.

Increase in farmers' income

The aim of the state government is to increase the income of farmers and increase the use of modern techniques in farming. Working in this direction, changes are being made in the methods of growing crops, so that farmers can produce more by adopting new and advanced agricultural methods.

High quality crops in every season

Through technologies like greenhouse and poly house, farmers can now cultivate throughout the year, whether it is winter, summer or rainy. With these techniques, they can also grow grains along with nutritious vegetables like tomatoes, chillies, capsicum, cucumber and beans. With this type of farming, crops are protected from the effects of weather, their quality is good and farmers get better prices in the market.
