Every detail from transaction ID to transaction time and transaction amount can be seen on this app. Although transaction history is very useful, sometimes there is a need to hide some transaction details from the partner. Be it shopping transaction details or details of sending money to a friend. To avoid the fight, you can also delete Google Pay transaction details. For this, you need to follow a simple process.
Where can you see transaction details?
Ways to delete transaction details: To delete transaction details, you need to know where you can see the transaction details. For this open the Google Pay app. Once the app opens, scroll down to the bottom of the home page that opens. Four options will be visible at the end of this page. The third option out of these will be ‘Transaction History’. As soon as you tap on it, all your transaction details till now will open. In this, you can know about every payment information by going to each transaction.
How to delete payment details
Now follow these steps to delete any payment details.
For this, first of all, open Google Chrome on the phone.
Now go to Google.com and search for Google Account.
Now enter Google credentials to log in.
You will see three dots on the top right corner, click on it.
Select the ‘Data and Privacy’ option and go to ‘History Settings’.
Tap on ‘Web and App Activity’ and click on Manage all web and app activities.
Now three dots will be visible on the search bar, tap on it.
Select ‘Other Google Activity’ and go to Google Pay Experience.
By going to Google Pay Experience, the option of ‘Manage activity’ will open.
The drop-down arrow option will open in Manage Activity. In this, select the transaction history you want to delete.
In this, you will get three options, in which you can delete the transaction history by selecting Last Hour, Last Day, and All Time. The deleted details will be updated within 10 to 12 hours.
