Government's big action on Digital Arrest, more than 83 thousand WhatsApp accounts blocked, complaints like this

After the cases of digital arrest increased rapidly in the country, the government has taken strict steps to stop it. For the last few months, there has been a rapid action against those doing digital arrest.
According to the information received from Union Minister of State for Home Sanjay Bandi Kumar, the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center has blocked more than 3,962 Skype IDs and 83 thousand 668 WhatsApp accounts.
The Union Minister of State for Home has told that the accounts which have been blocked were being used for fraud.

Apart from this, the Home Ministry has informed that till 28 February, more than 7.81 lakh SIM cards and 2 lakh 8 thousand 469 IMEI numbers have been blocked.
Let us tell you that the police investigate cases of digital arrest. If any mobile number, Whatsapp account, or Skype ID is found involved in it, then its information is shared with the government and then that number or account is closed.
