Financial assistance is given under the insurance scheme in case of disaster damage to crops, pest attack, or drought.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Irrigation Scheme
The Prime Minister Agricultural Irrigation Scheme has been started by the Central Government to solve a major problem related to irrigation. Under this scheme, water has to be delivered to every farm. The government has decided to get more crops per drop attractively with an end-to-end system for farmers on source creation, detail, board, field application, and development practice.

PKVY
Also known as Traditional Agriculture Development Scheme, under this central government scheme, the Government of India provides financial assistance of Rs 50 thousand per hectare to the farmers. Assistance is given every three years for organic process, certification, labeling, packaging, and transportation in organic production. The government provides financial assistance to farmers through this scheme. Also encourages to do organic farming.

Kisan Credit Card
The Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme was launched by the Central Government in 1998 to provide adequate credit to farmers for their farming or agricultural expenses. Under this agricultural or central government scheme, the Government of India assists farmers with agricultural loans at a concessional rate of 4 percent per annum as a government subsidy for agriculture. So far 2.5 crore farmers have taken advantage of this scheme.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started by the Central Government, which gives Rs 6 thousand annually to the farmers. Any farmer in the country can apply under this scheme. This amount is given in three installments, which are given at an interval of 4 months. It can be applied through the official website.
