The central government and the state governments run many schemes for women. Through these schemes, the governments also take special care of women. In such a situation, the Odisha government is bringing a scheme named Subhadra Yojana. This scheme is for women. So let's know about it.

What is Subhadra Yojana?

Through this, women's empowerment will be promoted. According to the Odisha government, about one crore women will be given the benefit of this scheme. Subhadra Yojana will be launched on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday i.e. 17 September. Under this scheme, women will be given Rs 10 thousand annually and this money will be given in two installments of Rs 5-5 thousand. In this scheme, which will run for five years, women will be given an amount of Rs 50 thousand.

Who will be eligible?

• Women whose age is between 21 to 60 years will be considered eligible
• The applicant must be a native of Odisha state
• Women who are government employees are not eligible
