The central government runs many schemes to promote agriculture and increase the income of farmers. The state governments also run some separate schemes, which directly benefit the farmers. Madhya Pradesh has started one such scheme. Through the Chief Minister Krishak Promotion Scheme, the state government will now give Rs 4000 to the farmers. A condition has also been kept for this.

Farmers cultivating paddy will get the benefit.
Actually, in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP government led by CM Mohan Yadav is running another scheme to take farming to new heights. This scheme is especially for those farmers who pay more attention to paddy cultivation. Under this scheme, the government will give financial assistance of Rs 4 thousand per hectare to the farmers.

Help will be given according to the size of the field
Under this scheme, farmers who have planted paddy crops will be given help according to the size of their fields. For example, if a farmer has cultivated paddy in 2 hectares, then he will get Rs 8000. This money will be transferred directly to the farmers' bank account in March, when money is needed the most after farming.

Relief to wheat farmers too

Although the focus of this scheme is on paddy, the government has also given relief to those who cultivate wheat. Under this, such farmers will also get a bonus of Rs 175 per quintal along with the minimum support price. This will take the price of wheat to Rs 2600 per quintal.

KYC is necessary
In Madhya Pradesh, only those farmers will get the benefit of the Chief Minister Krishak Promotion Scheme, who are registered in the Kisan Samman Nidhi. Such farmers will also have to get their E-KYC done. So that help can reach the right person.
