According to the latest report of 9to5 Google, Google is testing AI based summary feature in Discover feed on Android and iOS platforms. Also, testing is also going on to make the option of bookmarking i.e. save easier for users. According to the report, now instead of showing the name of only one publication, users will see a card in which many icons will appear in overlapping form. These icons will provide information about which sources and how many stories have been used in preparing the summary. If a user wants to read all those stories, then he can read in detail by tapping on the icon.

Let us tell you that before clicking on See More, you will see a small text in three lines. Here you will see written at the end that this content has been prepared by AI and there may be errors in it. Through this, Google will inform the users in advance that this content has been created by AI and it is not necessary to be completely accurate. Apart from this, the cover image of the first story will appear at the top and the title of that story will be below it. At the same time, you will also see the name of the publication and date/time information.

Bookmarking will be even easier

Users will now also see the save button in the card. This button will be present between a heart icon and an overflow menu. By tapping on this button, users will be able to easily bookmark anything. The saved news will appear in the bookmark activity tab. Currently, testing of this feature is going on.
