Google has released the new Pixel Drop of July 2025, which includes many new features for Pixel devices. The biggest announcement of this update is a one-year free Google AI Pro plan subscription for Pixel 9 Pro users. With this, users will get access to the company's new video generation technology, Veo 3. Apart from this, Google has also included a new AI mode in the Circle-to-Search tool and the Gemini assistant feature in the Wear OS based Pixel Watch.
Pixel Drop: What is special?
Google said in a blog post that users of Pixel 9 Pro devices will get a one-year free subscription to the Google AI Pro plan. Usually, this plan costs Rs 1,950 per month in India. In this plan, users get access to advanced Gemini models like Gemini 2.5 Pro and Deep Research. Along with this, a video generation facility is also available with limited access to the Veo 3 model.
Pixel 9 Pro users can now use Google's exclusive AI filmmaking tool 'Flow', which is built with Veo 3 technology. Apart from this, the Whisk app also gets a high limit for image-to-video conversion with the help of Veo 2. Users will be given 1,000 AI credits every month in both of these tools.
Under the AI Pro plan, users will also get maximum limit in Audio Overviews, access to Gemini in Google apps like Chrome, Docs, and Gmail, and 2TB cloud storage (in Drive, Gmail, and Photos).
Improved Circle-to-Search with AI mode
With the Pixel Drop update, users in India and the US will now get AI mode in the Circle-to-Search tool. This tool will now be able to understand text-based prompts and give detailed answers, including inline citations. Additionally, this feature now also includes the ability to get help while gaming, where users will be able to see guides, articles, or videos related to the level they are stuck on, directly on the same screen, without having to switch apps.
