When Alex Rivlin got suspicious, he disconnected the call, but after a while, he noticed some unauthorised charges on the card, after which the card was immediately blocked. This incident made it clear how scammers are now circulating fake numbers on Google through AI.

When the matter was investigated, it was found that this phone number was also being used for other cruise operators, including Disney and Carnival Princess Line. This type of scam is not new, but the reach of such scams has increased through AI.
