You can avail the benefits of this scheme through post office. Under this scheme, parents need to open an account in the name of their daughter.
How to invest in this scheme
You can invest in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana with a very small amount. The starting amount is Rs 250. In this, a deposit of up to Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand can be kept annually. In this scheme, the investor gets an interest of 8.2 percent. The investor gets the entire amount after 21 years of investment.
How to get Rs 27 lakh for daughter's marriage
Under this scheme, the government gives an amount of up to Rs 27 lakh. In this scheme, accounts of daughters below 10 years of age are opened. When the daughter is 18 years old, 50 percent of the amount can be withdrawn under the scheme. If you want to get an amount of up to Rs 27 lakh, then the investor will have to deposit Rs 5000 per month.
In 15 years, this amount will increase to ₹ 9,00,000. When the interest rate of 8.2% is applied, this amount will double to ₹ 18,71,031. After 21 years, when the time of daughter's marriage will come, this amount will further increase to ₹ 27,71,031.
