Infosys Salary Hike: IT major Infosys is set to reward its employees. The company will soon begin increasing employee salaries this year. The CEO himself shared this information, stating that all employees will receive a salary hike in October. However, he did not specify the percentage by which salaries would be raised.

What the CEO said

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh discussed this matter with Moneycontrol. He explained that the salary hike would be implemented in three phases. Most employees will receive the increased salary starting in October, while the salaries of senior employees will be raised in January. The company disclosed this information alongside its results for the first quarter (April-June) of the 2026-27 fiscal year.

Recruitment of freshers

The company also announced plans to recruit freshers. Infosys stated that it intends to hire 20,000 freshers during this fiscal year. Of these, more than 4,000 have already been recruited during the April-June quarter.

Employee attrition

Furthermore, the company revealed that the employee attrition rate has risen to 13%, up from 12.6% in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the total headcount stood at 328,062 as of June 30, compared to 328,594 at the end of March, indicating a slight decline in the total number of employees.
