PNG Connection Offer: There is good news for government employees residing in Noida and Greater Noida. Obtaining a PNG connection has become easier for the families of government employees and paramilitary personnel. Significant concessions are being offered for new PNG connections in government and defense colonies across Gautam Buddha Nagar. IGL has announced a waiver on the ₹6,000 security deposit usually required for a PNG connection; a 100% discount is being provided on this amount.

According to an HT report, this scheme covers colonies and employee quarters belonging to central and state government departments, offices, and paramilitary forces. The waiver on the deposit will remain in effect until September 17.

**Details of flats to be collected from departments**
Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate Medha Rupam has directed departments and organizations to identify quarters where PNG infrastructure needs to be developed. Comprehensive details regarding all such flats have been sought. According to the district administration, the scheme applies to colonies where the expansion and development of PNG infrastructure are required.

It is worth noting that new LPG connections have been banned since March. Meanwhile, the government is focusing heavily on expanding PNG services to reduce reliance on LPG. Information regarding PNG expansion is being sought across various states.
