PM Kisan Yojana: The Union Budget for the financial year 2026-27 is just a few weeks away. The Finance Minister will present the budget in Parliament on February 1st, but before that, there's great news for crores of farmers and women across the country. Under the central government's most ambitious scheme, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the next installment of ₹2000 may soon be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

When will the next installment arrive?

According to reports, the government may give farmers a New Year's gift around or just before the budget session. Generally, PM Kisan installments are released at intervals of every 4 months. After the last installment was released, the next installment may be released in February 2026. In many states, the amount for schemes running for women (such as Ladli Behna or Vandan Yojana) is also being deposited into accounts between the 10th and 15th of the month.

Who will benefit?

This ₹2000 benefit will only be given to those farmers who have completed their registration and verification on time. The government has made it clear that the money may be withheld without e-KYC and land verification (Land Seeding).

How to check your name in the list?

If you want to know whether you will receive the upcoming ₹2000, then immediately check the list by following these steps:

• Visit the website: First, go to the official PM Kisan website pmkisan.gov.in. Farmer Corner: Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the right side of the homepage.
• Beneficiary List: Click on the ‘Beneficiary List’ option here.
• Fill in the details: Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village name.
• Get Report: Clicking on the ‘Get Report’ button will display the complete list for your village.
• Check your name: If your name is on this list, you will definitely receive the money in your account around the time of the budget.
• If you haven't completed your e-KYC yet, get it done today by visiting your nearest CSC center or through OTP on your mobile, otherwise, the ₹2000 installment may be withheld.
