Gold futures with an expiry date of April 2, 2026, opened at Rs. 1,60,769 per 10 grams on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday. On the last trading day, gold closed at Rs. 1,61,598 on MCX.

Silver with a March 5, 2026 expiry date on MCX was trading at ₹2,63,842 (per kg), down 0.56 percent, or ₹1,491. Silver had opened the trading day at ₹2,67,221. The day's high was ₹2,67,500.
Silver prices have fallen in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. In Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, 10 grams of silver is selling for ₹2,850 today. Meanwhile, customers will have to spend ₹28,500 to buy 100 grams of silver. In Chennai, the price of 10 grams of silver is ₹2,900.
