Like gold, silver prices have also fallen today. However, despite the decline, silver prices remain close to record high levels. The continuous increase in silver prices is putting pressure on buyers in the bullion and jewelry markets.

What are the prices of 24, 22, and 18 carat gold?

On January 3, the price of 24-carat gold in India fell by Rs 380 and is now Rs 1,35,820 per 10 grams and Rs 13,58,200 for 100 grams. Similarly, the cost of 22-carat gold is currently Rs 1,24,500 per 10 grams after a drop of Rs 350, and the price for 100 grams is Rs 12,45,000. However, the cost of 10 grams of 18-carat gold increased by Rs 280 today to reach Rs 1,01,870, while the price for 100 grams is Rs 10,18,700.

Silver prices are also seeing a decline in the country today. Silver prices have fallen by Rs 2000 and are now at Rs 2,40,000 per kilogram. Similarly, the cost of 100 grams of silver is ₹24,000.

Gold and Silver Prices on MCX

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures maturing on February 5th closed at ₹1,35,752 per 10 grams in Friday's trading, after falling by 0.04 percent. Similarly, silver futures expiring on March 5th settled at ₹2,36,599 after rising by 0.31 percent.
