Gold prices in the country have fallen further. On the morning of July 25, the price of 24-carat gold in the capital, Delhi, slipped to ₹1,44,470 per 10 grams. A day earlier, the price of 99.9% pure gold in Delhi's bullion market had dropped by ₹2,000 to ₹1,47,200 per 10 grams. Gold prices are under pressure due to weak buying sentiment in the domestic market. In the international market, spot gold stands at $4,052.78 per ounce. A slight rise in gold prices was observed in the global market as the price of Brent crude oil fell below $100 per barrel.
