Gold Rate Today in India: Sluggish demand and a strengthening dollar have dimmed the luster of non-interest-bearing assets like gold. After a day of stability, gold prices in the capital, Delhi, have dropped for the second consecutive day. Over these two days, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has fallen by ₹120, while 22-carat gold has become cheaper by ₹110. Specifically today, the price of 10 grams of both 24-carat and 22-carat gold in Delhi has decreased by ₹10. As for silver, sluggish industrial demand has exerted downward pressure on prices, dampening its shine as well; following two days of stability, prices have fallen for the second straight day, with the cost of one kilogram of silver dropping by ₹5,100 over this period.

Silver Prices Drop After Two Days of Stability

As for silver, prices have fallen for the second consecutive day today following two days of stability. Over these two days, the price of one kilogram of silver has dropped by ₹5,100. Before the recent two-day period of price stability, the price of a kilogram of silver had risen by ₹15,000 over three days, followed by a drop of ₹5,000 on June 30. As for today, the price in Delhi has decreased by ₹100 per kilogram, bringing it to ₹2,44,900. In other major metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Kolkata, it is trading at this same rate. However, the price of a kilogram of silver in Chennai stands at ₹2,49,900, making it the most expensive among the four major metros.
