Experts believe that despite recent fluctuations, a significant drop in gold prices is unlikely. Gold has established a strong base at current levels; therefore, customers should not postpone their purchases in anticipation of a sharp price decline. HSBC has projected that the average price of gold could be $4,560 per ounce in 2026 and $4,925 per ounce in 2027. By the end of this year, the price could reach $4,750, and by the end of next year, it could rise to $5,025 per ounce.

Silver Price

Like gold, the price of silver—another precious metal—has also seen a decline. As of the morning of July 13, silver is priced at ₹234,900 per kilogram. Over the past week, the price of silver has dropped by ₹15,000. In the international market, the price of spot silver stands at $59.54 per ounce. Domestic prices for gold and silver are influenced by both global and local factors.
