Gold Price Today: Gold gets costlier; 22-carat gold reaches ₹1,40,810 in Delhi, while gold prices in the country are witnessing a further surge. On the morning of September 17, the price of 24-carat gold in the capital, Delhi, rose to ₹1,53,600 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the price stands at ₹1,53,450 per 10 grams. This decision strengthened the dollar, negatively impacting non-yielding precious metals like gold. The Fed raised the benchmark overnight interest rate by 0.25%, bringing it to the 3.75%–4.00% range.
