Silver Price
The decline in silver, another precious metal, also continues. On the morning of September 25, the price of silver fell to ₹244,900 per kilogram. A day earlier, silver prices had dropped by ₹5,000 in Delhi's bullion market. In the international market, the price of spot silver stands at $63.60 per ounce. In January of this year, the domestic price of silver had reached a record high of ₹4 lakh per kilogram.
Philip Newman, Managing Director of Metals Focus, believes that the price of gold in the global market could reach $5,000 per ounce by the end of 2026. Continuous buying by central banks is providing strong support to gold prices. According to Newman, if gold reaches $5,000 per ounce, silver could rise to $80 per ounce. There is scope for further gains in silver prices in 2027.
