Gold Price Today: Gold continues to fall; on the 5th day of Navratri, the price of 22-carat gold in Delhi has reached ₹136,040..
Gold prices in the country are witnessing a continuous decline. This trend persisted on Wednesday, the fifth day of Navratri. On the morning of October 15, the price of 24-carat gold in the national capital, Delhi, stood at ₹148,400 per 10 grams. A day earlier, the price of 99.9% pure gold in Delhi’s bullion market had dropped by ₹1,800. The strengthening of the rupee has exerted downward pressure on the prices of precious metals. A stronger rupee makes the import of dollar-denominated metals—such as gold and silver—cheaper, which in turn puts pressure on their prices in the domestic market.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) implemented several measures over the past weekend aimed at strengthening the domestic currency. In the international market, spot gold is trading at $4,083.94 per ounce. Within the country, gold and silver prices are influenced by both domestic and global factors.
