**What do experts say about gold?**
Experts observe no signs of easing tensions between the US and Iran. US President Donald Trump has threatened a major attack on Iran following the midterm elections. Consequently, crude oil prices remain high, raising concerns about rising inflation. US Federal Reserve official Kevin Warsh has already stated that the current focus will be on controlling inflation. Given this, it is anticipated that the Federal Reserve might raise interest rates once again; a hike in interest rates tends to dampen the appeal of gold. Meanwhile, the strengthening dollar could also weigh down gold prices.
