Gmail login now with QR code, cyber fraud will be reduced, see full information.
Gmail will now use a QR code as a two-step verification for login so that cyber fraud can be prevented.

There are always some updates about Gmail. Now another new update has come out, from now on Gmail login will have a two-step verification QR code. It is being said that the company is going to start the option of authentication by scanning a QR code instead of a 6-digit SMS. Google has taken this decision to prevent cyber fraud from Gmail.
Earlier Google had started the option of two-step verification to prevent cyber fraud and creating fake accounts, in which a 6-digit code comes on the mobile number and verification is done. But cybercriminals are still doing scams like phone hacking, SIM swapping, and phishing through this. In such a situation, this decision has been taken.
Traffic pumping or toll fraud is also believed to be a reason behind this decision of Google. Through this fraud, cyber criminals use people's telephone or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems and force them to pay toll fees or other charges unnecessarily and illegally. It is said that in this, criminals get money for every message. Also, Gmail spokesperson Ross Richenderfer has said that SMS code is a source of risk for users. The company is working to strengthen security and reduce as well as prevent hacker attacks. It is believed that Gmail accounts will be safer than before through QR authentication.
