Major change in LPG booking rules
With the improvement in LPG supply conditions, the government has introduced a significant change to booking rules. The minimum interval between the delivery of two cylinders has been increased to 25 days; previously, it was 45 days. This rule applies to rural areas. The booking period in urban areas is already 25 days.
Acting on government directives, oil companies such as Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have implemented this with immediate effect.
