To curb ticket brokers, the Railways has also changed the rules for ticket booking. From July 1, 2025, users will also have to provide OTP to book Tatkal train tickets, which will be sent to the mobile number registered in their IRCTC account. OTP based Tatkal ticket booking is going to be mandatory from July 15.

During booking Tatkal tickets of trains, agents will not be allowed to book for half an hour before July 1. This will help more and more people in the system to get Tatkal train tickets.

There is also going to be a big change in the rules of PAN card from July 1. CBDT said that from July 1, 2025, you will have to compulsorily provide Aadhaar card to get a PAN card. At the same time, those who already have both these documents will have to link it. The last date for this is 31 December 2025.

Withdrawing cash from ATM is going to be expensive for ICICI Bank customers from July 1. Bank customers are going to get only 3 free transactions. After this, a charge of Rs 23 will be levied on financial transactions and Rs 8.5 on non-financial transactions. In non-metro cities, this limit will be 5 transactions per month.
