What is Happy Card Scheme?

In the year 2024, the then Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, started the Haryana Happy Card Scheme. Under this scheme, a smart card is issued to the beneficiaries to travel free in Haryana Roadways buses. Happy card holders can travel up to 1000 km for free under Haryana Roadways. More than 22 lakh families will get benefit under the scheme.

How to make Happy Card?

To get Happy Card made, first of all the applicant has to go to the official website of Haryana Roadways https://ebooking.hrtransport.gov.in/. After this, the application has to click on the option of 'apply happy card'. After this, the number of the family identity card has to be entered. And after this the captcha code has to be filled. Then click on 'send otp to verify'. After this, the information of your entire family will come in front of you.

You have to select the family member for whom you want to get the Happy Card made. After this, you will have to enter the mobile number and Aadhaar card and after filling the captcha, click on the option of 'send otp'. After this, the OTP received on the mobile number will have to be entered and verified. After this, you will be able to complete the process of making a Happy Card, your Happy Card will be made

Who can apply

This scheme has been brought by the Haryana government especially keeping in mind the poor and needy people. Under this scheme, the government gives benefits only to those people whose annual family income is one lakh rupees or less. Under this Happy Card Scheme, Antyodaya families in Haryana are allowed to travel a thousand kilometers free in Haryana Roadways.
