FD Rates Hike: This famous bank is giving a strong interest of 6.50% on FD of 180 days..

The country's largest public sector bank SBI (SBI 180 Days FD interest) is offering 6.50 percent interest on FDs of 180 days. SBI had recently revised the interest rates on FDs in May. SBI had increased the interest on FDs (SBI bank FD Interest rates) by 0.75 percent. The bank has increased the interest rates on FDs by more than Rs 2 crore. Check the interest rate.

FD rates of State Bank of India (SBI)
7 days to 45 days: For the general public - 3.50 percent; For senior citizens - 4 percent

46 days to 179 days: For the general public - 5.50 percent; For senior citizens (senior Citizen SBI Interest rates) - 6 percent

180 days to 210 days: For the general public - 6 percent; For senior citizens – 6.50 percent

211 days to less than 1 year: For general (high return FD) public – 6.25 percent; For senior citizens – 6.75 percent

1 year to less than 2 years: For general (fixed deposit) public – 6.80 percent; For senior citizens – 7.30 percent

2 years to less than 3 years: For the general public – 7.00 percent; For senior citizens – 7.50 percent

3 years to less than 5 years: For general (FD interest rate Hike) public – 6.75 percent; For senior citizens – 7.25 percent

5 years to 10 years: For the general public – 6.50 percent; For senior citizens – 7.50 percent.

(Senior citizens get 0.50% extra interest under SBI We care FD rates on FDs of 5 to 10 years.)

More interest in bulk FDs too
Apart from retail, the State Bank of India has also increased the interest rates of bulk FDs. The bank will now give 5.25% interest to the general customer instead of 5.00% on FDs of 7 to 45 days. Senior citizens will get interest at the rate of 5.75% per annum (Fixed Deposit interest Hike) instead of 5.50%. The bank has increased the interest rates by 50 basis points on FDs of 46 to 179 days. Now the bank is offering a 6.25% interest rate to general customers instead of 5.75% and a 6.75% interest rate to senior citizens instead of 6.25%.
