Every woman will get 10 thousand rupees! This is how you will get money in Bihar, you just have to agree to this one condition..

Just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has aimed to empower women through the 'Lakhpati Didi' scheme at the Centre, 'Jeevika Didis' are empowering women in Bihar. Recently, CM Nitish Kumar announced the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, which was approved in the cabinet meeting. Now the state government has issued the guidelines of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana. Under this, every woman in the state who wants to start self-employment will be given an initial assistance of Rs 10,000.
Assembly elections are near in Bihar, and this is being described as a big step by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to woo women. Earlier, Nitish had been wooing women voters through the liquor ban campaign, women's reservation in teacher recruitment, and other issues.
What is mentioned in the guidelines?
Only one woman from a family will get the benefit of this scheme. The condition for getting the benefit of this scheme is that the beneficiary woman has to join the Jeevika Didi Self-Help Group (SHG). In the instructions issued on Monday, the Rural Development Department said that if the woman's business runs well after six months, then a loan of up to Rs 2 lakh will be given to take it forward.
One woman from every family will be added.
Nitish Kumar had announced this scheme on social media on August 29 and also got approval from the cabinet. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that every woman from 2.7 crore families of the state will be linked to this scheme. This will not only provide employment to women but will also strengthen the rural economy.
Loans up to Rs 2 lakh will also be available
Under the scheme, Rs 10,000 will be given in the first phase. After this, depending on the condition of the business, a loan of Rs 15,000, Rs 75,000, or a maximum of Rs 2 lakh will be given. The interest rate will be 12% per annum, while the repayment period has been fixed between 1 and 3 years, so that women are not burdened.
1.34 crore women are associated with Jeevika
Jeevika Didi Yojana is operated by the Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Committee (BRLPS). It was started in 2006 with the help of World Bank. Currently, 10.81 lakh self-help groups are active in the state, with 1.34 crore women associated with them. These groups are increasing the income of women from agriculture, animal husbandry, handicrafts, grocery shops, sewing-embroidery and small industries. Recently, Jeevika Nidhi Credit Cooperative Union Limited has been formed under this, which will provide loans to women at cheap rates like a bank.
