The Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has recently launched several innovative digital features for its members, which not only enhance their experience but also make PF-related processes faster and easier. From Passbook Lite to online transfers, EPFO services are now within your reach with just a few clicks. Let's explore these new features in simple terms.

Under the new system, you can now withdraw your PF funds directly from an ATM. You simply need to link your Aadhaar card to your bank account and activate your Universal Account Number (UAN). Under EPFO 3.0, you can also withdraw your PF funds through UPI.

Previously, viewing your PF passbook, filing claims, and tracking transfers required multiple portals. Now, the EPFO has integrated these services into a single portal, allowing you to access all services in one place after logging in. This means that Passbook Lite, Annexure K downloads, and claim status are now available on your Member Portal.

PF withdrawals or transfers were often delayed because claims needed to be approved by higher authorities. The EPFO has now simplified this process. Claims related to PF, advances, and refunds can now be approved by Assistant PF Commissioners and lower-level officers. This will reduce processing time and ensure your funds are credited to your account faster.

If you've changed jobs and transferred your PF, you can now download the Transfer Certificate (Annexure K) online yourself. This allows you to easily track whether your previous service records and balance have been transferred correctly. This is also an important document for EPS (pension) calculations, which will be useful in the future.
