The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has changed the rules of the Provident Fund (PPF). After the implementation of the new rules, the claim process, tracking of claims, and the method of checking passbooks have become easier. After the implementation of this rule, EPF members will get a lot of convenience.

Let us tell you that the Central Government has issued instructions to implement the Aadhaar Payment Bridge and 100% Biometric Aadhaar Authentication. After this instruction, employers and employees will get the benefit of the Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) scheme. This scheme was announced in the Union Budget 2024-25.

To take advantage of the new rules, employees have to complete an important task before 30 November 2024.

Activate UAN

Along with new employees, old employees will also have to activate the Universal Account Number (UAN). For this, they have to activate UAN through the Aadhaar based OTP process. After activating UAN, EPFO ​​members will be able to avail of all the online service facilities easily. Yes, after activating UAN, the services mentioned below can be easily used-

Now members can use EPFO's 24/7 service. Now they will not need to go to the EPFO ​​office.

How to Activate UAN

First of all, go to the EPAO portal.

Select the option of Activate UAN here.

After this, enter UAN, Aadhaar number, name, date of birth, and Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

Now accept Aadhaar OTP verification and then enter the OTP.

After activating UAN, the password will be on the registered mobile number.
