It is important to do this because when you withdraw money from your PF account online, an OTP comes on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. In such a situation, if there is no mobile number linked to your Aadhaar, then you may face difficulty in withdrawing money because without OTP the money cannot be withdrawn. In such a situation, you should get your mobile number linked to your Aadhaar, so that you do not face any problem.

This is the way to link mobile numbers:-

Step 1

• If your mobile number is not linked to your Aadhaar card or the linked mobile number has been switched off etc., then in such a situation, you can get a new mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
• For this, you first have to go to your nearest Aadhaar center.
• You have to go here and take the correction form

Step 2

• In this correction form, you have to fill in information like your full name, and Aadhaar number.
• Also in this form, you have to enter the mobile number which you want to update.
• In this case, fill the mobile number in the form.

Step 3

• Then take the filled form to the concerned officer
• Where your biometrics will be taken and your photo is also clicked.
• After this, the request to link your new mobile number with Aadhaar is accepted by the officer.
• Then within a few days, the mobile number gets linked to your Aadhaar.
